| Br. Ged Walsh, O.Carm & Br. David Twohig, O.Carm
This weekend begins a week of celebrations for the
Carmelites in Ireland and Great Britain. This Saturday Br. David Twohig will be
ordained to the priesthood in Whitefriars Street Church in Dublin. Saturday is
the feast of the Presentation of the Lord and the world day of prayer for those
in the consecrated life. David will celebrate
a Mass of Thanksgiving in Beaumont Parish Church the following day.
On Monday 11th February, Br. Ged Walsh will be
ordained deacon in the Carmelite Monastery Chapel at Thicket Priory near York.
Please keep these young men in your prayers as they take
these steps in the service of God and his people. Pray that others many follow
them into the Land of Carmel.
